Please forward far and wide...
A new law proposition in Norway has been made official. This proposition is
largely based on the opinions of a few men, and all the major dog
organizations
in Norway have been ignored during the making of the proposition. Among
other
things it includes a ban on a further two breeds; the American
Staffordshire
Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. This proposition is in general
very "anti-dog", and also states that anyone who feels threatened by a dog
can
legally kill the dog, no questions asked.
Norwegian dog owners demand that the proposed law be returned to the
Justice
minister, and also demand a more thorough law more suitable for our time.
We
also demand that the law is made so that organized, responsible dog
ownership
is not punished.
We demand that dog organizations be heard in the making of the law, as
they are
the ones that have the knowledge and resources needed to make a fair and
efficient dog law. Much more so than the persons and commercial groups
behind
the present proposition.
Please lend your support by signing our petition.
Sincerely,
Alexander Andresen

Auch aus Australien kam letzten Monat ein ähnlicher Brief. Idioten gibt es eben überall.
